Our IFS Audit Update

About a month ago, we completed our third IFS PACsecure audit at Associated. A third party auditor came in to review key sections of the IFS PACsecure standard across our four buildings and see how we measured up.

In case you need a little refresher, Associated Labels and Packaging has been IFS PACsecure-certified since 2018. IFS is the primary standard that deals exclusively with food packaging, was founded by PAC (Packaging Consortium), and is a benchmark by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative). In March 2018, Associated passed our audit with an impressive 93%, and last year we achieved a score of over 95%!

We recently got the results back from our third audit, and our 2020 score is 96.5% - the best score we have ever received! We're so proud of our entire team for their diligence and hard work, and for always adhering to the rigorous standards that IFS entails. Food safety is so important, especially in times like these, and we're so pleased to be able to offer this assurance to our customers.
