Pushing boundaries in the latest packaging technologies and accelerating company knowledge has been our driving force since the very regenerative businessbeginning. However, this philosophy goes hand in hand with the ever-changing printing industry, and you either adapt or become obsolete. Competitors have changed from local to global, while advances in digital printing presses have disrupted industry barriers to entry; therefore, differentiation has become front and centre.

Over the past 40 years our company has done it all; from core values to six sigma, to lean manufacturing, to team building and employee surveys; Industry trends have pushed us in the direction of becoming a food-safe facility and creating industry firsts in compostable and recyclable packaging. We have joined collaborative groups, paid for memberships and donate annually to 1% for the Planet. We even seriously considered becoming B-Corp and joining the United Ways Social Purpose Cohort.

After much contemplation, we have acknowledged it's time to take another look at our company culture and essence. We recognized the need to start with our fundamentals before anything else. We want true, authentic and inclusive change and the regenerative business paradigm seems to be the holistic approach we need. When something strikes a chord with you, you know it's coming from the right place!

Our company will be taking our first steps in exploring this paradigm by participating in the online Regenerative Summit hosted by Carol Sanford on November 19th. The summit is a No Keynotes, No Panels and all action-oriented strategy and workshop in "Essence Expression." Essence is one of the seven fundamentals to regenerate your business. If our company chooses to continue this work after the summit, we can join the TRBDC Cohorts to continue the momentum and support while learning.
