At Associated, we are a full-service facility in more ways than one. In addition to offering every service needed to create a complete packaging solution from start to finish, we also have a custom equipment division!

Formed in 1988, our equipment division has since grown into a team of specialists and experts who design and create fully customized solutions for label application and packaging equipment, conveyors, and product handling devices. Going one step further, our technicians write the software themselves and create the machinery in-house, which means they can be a dependable resource throughout the machine's lifetime. In addition, we only build fully custom machinery and keep all parts non-proprietary, which allows our customers to purchase parts for maintenance or servicing elsewhere, should they choose to. We also have CSA Group certify our machines, depending on customer specifications, which ensures that our machines are suitable for any packaging facility.

Over the last 30 years, our team has spent most of their time working on unconventional projects and has garnered a wealth of experience and connections in this industry. All of our technicians have trained at Proseal America, and we are an authorized service facility for Proseal. This means that our technicians are some of the only Proseal service technicians available in Western Canada.

Another more recent development for the equipment team is their ability to create and implement traceability software for film. This software can track and record all information about the production of a product, the time and date the product was packaged, and all the production process steps. With this information, brands can rectify issues such as contamination or quality by tracing the issue back to one of the monitored steps.

Between custom software or custom equipment, our equipment division can create the perfect solution to add value to your product or process. When designing and creating the machinery, our team considers all aspects of the application process, such as what label or film is used, environmental temperatures, speed, etc. In addition, the team takes time to understand all of the details of the job and offers guidance along the way.
