New Equipment: FlexoControl Insetter System

We have a new addition at Associated – an insetter control system for our Windmoeller & Hoelscher 52” MIRAFLEX AM 10 Colour Flexographic Printing Press!

If you haven’t heard about our W&H machine, check out our post about it here for all the details! Some of the benefits of our W&H are as follows:

• 52" web width (our biggest printing press)
• Ability to print 10 colours
• Ideal for film, paper, and laminate substrates
• Superior print deck design, drying capabilities and web handlings
• Integrated modules for quick, waste-minimizing set-up and job changes
• Greater resolution and HD image quality

The new insetter allows us to build on the W&H capabilities to achieve the following:

• After printing as normal on the W&H (up to 10 colours), the insetter can be used to introduce unlimited colours by way of reinsertion
• Seamless integration of digital flexible print to include variable possibilities to flexible packaging
• Registered coatings and effects
